Writing as a Healing Cauldron - Writing into Health, Strength, and Survival as presented at the 2026 virtual In Our Own Hands Women's Wellness Series

Writing as a Healing Cauldron - Writing into Health, Strength, and Survival as presented at the 2026 virtual In Our Own Hands Women's Wellness Series

This workshop invites you into a safe and nourishing cauldron of writing energy, where words evoke healing. Together we will engage our health through meditation, breath, and writing practices that cultivate fortitude, strength, and gratitude. We will explore what health truly means—listening closely to the wisdom of our bodies. Through guided prompts, we’ll dialogue with our herbal allies, body parts, organs, illnesses, symptoms, caretakers, even our pain and discomfort—recognizing them as teachers. This workshop offers a crucible where survival wisdom can crystallize, no matter the challenges. Bring a notebook and a pen you love to write with.

You will experience:

· Writing as a way to deepen your healing process

· Dialogues with body parts, symptoms, or plant allies

· A pause from ordinary time to listen inward

· Spontaneous timed writing that captures raw truths

· A supportive space to be vulnerable, witnessed, and surprised by what emerges

· Slowing down to allow what is deeper to surface
